Barclays Life Skills visit

We had a wonderful day with our sixth form students when Fiona from Life Skills delivered a number of sessions on Tuesday, including:

Exploring Bank Accounts and Credit Cards; Renting Accommodation and Choosing Insurance Policies; Credit Scores; Facing Challenges; Building Resilience; and Assertive Behaviour.

The students had a really valuable experience and were keen to share their praise –

“Fiona was so brilliant, she was enthusiastic and incredibly engaging.  Everything she told us was so helpful, and it was one of the best learning experiences I think I’ve ever had.  I learnt a lot of valuable skills that I would not have known without going to her session.” Chloe Crumley (Year 13)

“The session was better than I thought it was going to be, I actually learned a lot more beneficial things about how to effectively manage my money, and how that if you don’t ask you don’t get and how to properly communicate with other people in jobs and other important meetings.” Jack Marshall (Year 13)
